2ND FEB 2024: LAUNCH OF TUBORESHE PAMOJA CBO,MACHAKOS YOUTH CENTER.
Graced the launching ceremony of Tuboreshe Pamoja CBO at Machakos youth center this afternoon.
The CBO is founded on the spirit of progress and collaboration and aims to empower the youths and women across the country to foster inclusivity and create a brighter future for all through education, healthcare and economic opportunities.
Through partnerships, we will transform every challenge into opportunity and dreams into realities under able leadership of H.E Governor Hon Wavinya Ndeti and build a more resilient society.
We welcome other stakeholders to partner with us to provide solutions to societal challenges and build a safe space for our people.

FOLLOW UP MEETING: 30TH JAN 2024
Agriculture is an important sector of our county economy and our administration is eager to ensure that the sector continues to thrive and support the livelihoods of our people for sustainable development.
Several projects and programs under the County Government of Machakos agriculture department have so far bore fruits and we aim to achieve more and align our agriculture strategic priorities to Chakulamezani, Pesamfukoni agenda.
This morning, I held a follow up meeting with the Department of Agriculture officials led by the Agriculture CECM Dr.Joel Nzomo to fasttrack the ongoing projects and programs and also strategize on anticipated apiculture,mitigation on post harvest losses and revival of copperatives within the county among other programs.
Indeed, Agriculture is the wisest pursuit.
JAN 29TH 2024: FOLLOW UP VISIT TO MACHAKOS PEOPLE'S PARK
Later on, I made a follow up visit to the Machakos people’s Park to assess the progress made on the ongoing facility improvement works.
It is truly inspiring to witness the significant transformation that has taken place here in marking a new chapter in this iconic space since my last visit.
Through our collective efforts, we aim to evolve the park into a recreation and cultural activities destination that brings people together and significantly contributes to our revenue generation.
I was accompanied by the Chief Officer in-charge of Tourism and Culture Ms.Bernice Kioko among other county officials.
JAN 29TH 2024: INDUCTION CEREMONY FOR COUNTY INVOICE OFFICERS.
Graced the induction ceremony for county invoice officers this afternoon at Machakos County social hall.
The officers will be deployed at ward levels across the county to provide timley invoicing of county services and coordinate with revenue officers in enhancing revenue collection for our county.
County Government of Machakos under leadership of Governor H.E Hon Wavinya Ndeti, EGH has developed measures to seal revenue leakages by adopting a cashless payment system,capacity building and employment of adequate staff to actualise this vision.
We will increase our own source revenue by hitting our county target and systematically meet the county revenue potential of ksh 6 billion as projected by World Bank and National Government.
