EDUCATION
Deputy governor H.E Hon. Francis Mwangangi Kilonzo is a leadership and Management graduate of St. Pauls University and holds a Master’s degree in international relations from the United States International University and Currently Pursuing a PhD Degree in International Relations.
WORK AND POLITICAL LIFE
Deputy Governor H.E Hon. Francis Mwangangi Kilonzo Served as Yatta Member of the National Assembly between 2013 and 2017 and was the first under the 2010 constitution. During his tenure as a Member of the National Assembly, he served as a member of the joint committee on National Cohesion and Equal Opportunity and the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security. Prior to that, he served as Country Program Director for Integrated Development Agency, Executive Director for Global Training institute, managing director for Regional Procurement and Supplies Services, Program Coordinator for Spider Consultancy Limited, Training Officer for Corporate Management Institute, and Assistant Senior Advisor in charge of business development to Corporate Computer College.
Before becoming the deputy governor, He served as the Director General for Global Hope Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization that aims at lessening the disparity in access to medical treatment between Western industrialized nations and developing countries.
Hon. Francis Mwangangi is known for his dedication to the proper handling of public funds, personal social responsibility, and the pursuit of social justice, equity, and equality. He brings a wealth of expertise in public policy design and Management of public affairs to the table of leadership. He has become a leading role model for both seasoned and aspiring leaders due to his perseverance, Self-drive, commitment to Excellence, and ability to complete complex tasks on a variety of professional fronts.
